Re-America

April 29 - May 27, 2017

The Re-America Art Exhibition combines artistic expressions of artists from the Caribbean and South America, as well Latin American artists living in the United States. Many of the art exhibited has been influenced by the roots and culture of many indigenous cultures. As politics and economics continue to evolve and grow in today's world, Latin American artists continue to exert their influence beyond their own borders.

Latin American artists are not so different than artists from the United States; they both share a deep history of conquest and imperialism but as individuals, everyone has their own different perspectives, it is the job of the artist to portray their perspective through creative mediums. Re-America captivates viewers with multifaceted layers of culture and insight into the rich history of Latin America.
